Sephora has surprisingly become a great option to buy clean beauty products. Some of my favorite Sephora clean beauty brands include Ilia, Saie, Kosas, and Tower 28, and I’ll be sharing my favorites in today’s post. I personally prefer neutral to cool toned choices, yet all products come in so many different shade options that I think everyone can find the right match.
Why am I sharing and supporting a big brand store like Sephora when there are many more sustainable clean beauty store options out there? Personally, I think we have a lot of voting power when we spend our money. Our choices make a big impact and tell companies what type of products are important to their customers. Additionally, if stores like Sephora recommend clean beauty products, many more people will be educated about the benefits of clean beauty and the quality of those products. It seems many more people will be exposed and introduced to better beauty options for our health and the health of our planet. I have often heard that people never new certain brands or cleaner beauty options existed until they heard it from a friend or were introduced through the store that they regularly buy from.

Before I share my favorite clean beauty products some insights into how I select my favorite products. First and foremost, I expect my products to perform, are easy to apply, and don’t include toxic ingredients that I try to avoid. As always, keep in mind everyone has different standards on which ingredients they are trying to avoid. What one person considers clean, another might not. Thus, it is always good to read the ingredients before purchasing a product. In this post, I am sharing my personal favorites from several brands that I consider clean, have tested and love myself. There are other great performing products from these brands that include ingredients that I personally choose not to use and thus I won’t include those in this post.
Favorite Clean Products from Ilia Beauty:
Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation
A clean tinted serum with light, dewy coverage that evens out the skin. It’s a serum tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation in my opinion, and your natural skin will shine through. A natural sunscreen from non-nano zinc oxide with many other skincare ingredients.
True Skin Serum Concealer with Vitamin C
A moisturizing and very lightweight serum concealer with medium coverage. It has skin evening and brightening skincare properties. While I like how my skin looks, I would not use this as a brightener. I think it does help even out my skin though. I love this concealer for under the eyes not my first choice to conceal blemishes. It only creases by the end of the day, if I used too much. I really don’t need a much to achieve the wanted brightening under my eyes.
Ilia Necessary Essential Eyeshadow Pallette
A great eyeshadow palette for every day and evening looks. It goes beyond your basic neutrals and includes matte, satin, and metallic finishes. There is a little fallout, but simply tapping off the brush before applying does the trick and I don’t have shadow all over my cheeks. See image above for swatches.
Liquid Powder Eye Shadow Tint
Ilia also has some great liquid eyeshadows that don’t budge. I like them don’t use them regularly though as I’m not really the biggest fan of liquid eyeshadows. My favorite colors are ‘Dove’, ‘Cork’, ‘Aura’, and ‘Dim’.
Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil
The Tinted Lip Oil adds just the right amount of gloss without being too overwhelming. It is a very moisturizing formula that isn’t sticky at all! My favorite colors are ‘Linger’, a deeper berry shade, and ‘Only You’ a very neutral color, and ‘Maybe Violet’ a cool pink with a purple undertone.
Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm
I love this lip balm and use it as a lipstick most days. A very hydrating formula with lip treatment benefits. Salicornia boosts hydration, Rosehip Seed Oil provides many antioxidants, and shea butter locks in moisture. Lots of color options, I personally love the color Lullaby, a cool rose pink.
Favorite Clean Beauty from Kosas:
Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF 25
A great medium coverage foundation with a natural finish. I find it quite longwearing, and it still looks good at the end of the day. It includes hyaluronic acid which add a nice amount of moisture. Niacinamide and coffee are brightening, and smoothing ingredients which help even out the skin.
Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer
A very creamy easily blendable concealer with medium coverage. I really don’t notice any creasing under the eyes at the end of the day which is a plus. It will cling to dry patches, make sure your skin is well moisturized and exfoliated and you won’t have any problems. Truly my favorite concealer for both under eyes and covering up blemishes. Unfortunately, I did not know any brightening, nonetheless I appreciate the skin benefitting ingredients.
Eyebrow Pencil & Eyebrow Gel
One of my favorite brow pencils. I love the ease of use, trust me, if I can make it look good so can you. It gives a subtle natural look that lasts all day. I don’t like my eyebrows super done. Additionally, Kosas has a great color range, and even a gray option.
The eyebrow gel, a tinted mousse gel airy for feathery brows. Super easy to apply. Not only does it add color but contains hair care actives that condition and support full brow health. I am not sure if that’s really true, but it certainly has not made my brows any more sparce than they are. A great color range for this product as well.
LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm
First up I think everyone needs a good lip balm. Most days, I use the tinted lip balm as it is so easy to apply on the go. It adds the perfect amount of color to my lip while also moisturizing them. A great multipurpose product for on the go or on a trip.
Kosas Weightless Lip Color Lipstick
Of course, I can’t forget about my favorite lipstick. This one is also very moisturizing, doesn’t bleed, and the color ‘Daydream’ is the perfect cool toned pink.
Favorite Clean Beauty Products from Saie:
Slip Tint Dewy Moisturizer SPF 35
My favorite year-round SPF that also evens out my skin enough so that I don’t need additional makeup on a daily basis. I love that it also has skin beneficial ingredients and in summer is enough as a moisturizer. The coverage is light to medium and adds a nice glow. If you don’t like a dewy look, this is not a product for you A lightweight formula that is also hydrating but sinks into skin nicely which makes it perfect for everyday use.
Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Highlighter
Sometimes, I feel my face can look a little dull. On those occasions, I apply a little of the gel highlighter with my Slip Tint or even to my moisturizer and my face really has a nice glow without looking greasy or wet with product.
Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Blush
A liquid cheek blush that is blendable and super easy to apply and leaves a healthy flush. The liquid-cream formula melts into the skin for the perfect subtle lit-from within color. It also contains elderberry fruit extract which fights free radicals, licorice root which brightens the skin, and other hydrating ingredients.
Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer
A lightweight, creamy balm bronzer with a natural velvet finish that melts into the skin. I have started to rely more on blush than bronzer, but every once in a while, I love changing it up. More in the summer or on vacation though. An overall bronzed summer glow seems to be better for my soft features. Usually I struggle with cream bronzers, sun melt is the first with which I easily achieve that easy, sun-kissed glow. I recommend buying the brush with it as it makes the application effortless and easy. In the past, I avoided most bronzer as it never looked quite right on me. Once I tried the brush, the bronzer gave me that summery glow we all want all year round.
Favorite Clean Beauty Products from Tower 28:
ShineOn Lip Jelly Non-Sticky Gloss
So far, I have only tried their gloss and really liked it. The ingredients of the gloss are clean, and I love that is really is not sticky at all. The color selection is also great, my favorite is Sesame, a semi-sheer milky mauve. Perfect for that little bit of extra color and moisture.
