With summer coming to a close and temperatures still being hot, it is time to step up our pool outfits. If you like us have many more pool days planned, check out the outfits I’m sharing in today’s Wear to Where? post. Each of the outfits can easily be mixed and matched and would be great for vacation as well. I would pack all of these outfits for tropical beach vacation.
Each of these outfit ideas can easily altered to fit your style. For my looks, I am using a navy & teal color scheme. Are blues and greens not your thing? Go ahead and find items that suit your color scheme. Most of the items I selected for my outfits come in many more colors. Additionally, I tried to include many items that most of us have in our closets already. Hopefully, this post will serve as inspiration to you and use items you already own to recreate any of these looks.
Wear to Where? Pool Day Outfits
I like to think of this outfit as an elevated classic look. Prefect for a day at the pool. The one-piece swimsuit worn with the cover-up is perfect for a long day at your local pool or a hotel pool. Add cute leather sandals, earrings, and a SPF tinted moisturizer and it can double for a cute outfit to run quick errands or picking up dinner. At the hotel you’ll look cute walking to and from your room or grab a drink at the pool bar.

This is one of my favorite outfits to wear to the pool. If I have other activities, I’d add a cute top. This bag really holds all essentials you need for a family day by the pool. I attach our floaties to the outside of our bags to save some space. Turkish towels are the best space saving towels that are great for drying and to place on your lounge chair. Additional bonus, they dry quickly and thus I can get away with less towels.

I love the casual elevated vibe of this pool outfit. Heading to the hotel pool for a relaxing time, or a backyard pool or neighborhood splashpad? This one is a super cute outfit. Add some jean shorts if you have a longer way to get there. The oversized boyfriend shirt blocks the sun and still allows you to get your feet wet in shallow pools if you have small kids. I love my EVA Birkenstocks for days at the waterpark. The best part, you won’t have to worry if you go in the water. Additionally, they are super comfortable and supportive. I love bringing Turkish towels as they double as great lounge chair covers or picnic blankets.

A few other things to consider for a successful pool outing:
For any pool or splashpad outing, make sure you have water and snacks along. I always bring a hat to cover my face and neck from the sun. In addition to towels, snacks, and water, I have sunscreen in our swim bags.
Best part of these looks, mix and match any of the swimsuits, coverups, and sandals. I created each of these looks with a travel capsule in mind. Best part, I bet you already have many of these items in your closet. Lastly, if you liked this post, I hope you’ll connect on social media and leave comments sharing your favorite pool outfits. Come back next week to find out what my next Wear to Where outfits will be.
